It’s Snack Time!

Schedule snack time into the daily routine. Snacks should be retrieved and cleaned up independently. Create a routine and memorialize it on a chart, if needed. You can even provide a special drawer in the fridge or shelf in the pantry just for snacks. Teach your child(ren) how a few times. Done! 

Brain Foods to have on hand:

  • Oily fish
  • Dark chocolate
  • All berries
  • Nuts and seeds
  • Avocados
  • Peanuts
  • Eggs
  • Broccoli
  • Leafy greens
  • Soy
  • Chickpeas
